who we are

WE ARE AN INNOVATION-DRIVEN PROFESSIONAL DESIGN PRACTICE

We are experienced creative designers combining diverse personal backgrounds into one effective team of co-creators. Our expertise as product designers and engineers is shaped by intuition, relevance and natural curiosity.

UNIQUE MEANINGS AND NEW CHALLENGES

Our special interest lies in innovation-driven projects in which advanced design methods have high impact potentials. These methods can boost professional challenges throughout the whole corporate ecosystem.

THE CORE OF OUR SYSTEM IS THE DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF DIVERSE HANDS-ON AND NON-LINEAR DESIGN METHODS

We believe it needs partners and co-creators to gain outstanding solutions, therefore we are striving for the most transparent and open relationship possible. Each new project undertaking is getting the tailor-made process architecture it deserves. Together with our partners we decide which route fits the challenge perfectly. This can span from Hypothetical Designs to Minimal Viable Products to traditional Product Design to Market processes. At any stage of the process we are verifying the state of work and adjust it to the needs required.

After several years of working together during and after our studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin, we, Lene Fischer, Jörn Weidenmüller and Constantin Unterberg founded fuw – advanced design in 2016.
Through our commitment to the inspiring city of Berlin we can count on a strong network of colleagues and partners. Here, tiny ideas grow into thrilling projects in a vibrant multidisciplinary environment.
